While I was working on new project development with my friend & project partner, Jack... the postal person came to the door baring gifts. My fabulously cool new specimens arrived from St Louis! And seriously cool they are! The Viburnum Trend items from Missouris lead mining regions... A stunning calcite cluster that I showed the photo of. Plus, a fabulous single lustrous Calcite from another mine that is about the size of a D-battery. Larger than I realized. Also a couple killer chalcopyrite specimens - one encrusting a neat form of Pyrite.... the other on Dolomite with beautiful magenta iridescence. Boy I wish I had a readily available photo of that one! Two others, including a Malachite from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It looks like crystalized club moss in s deep forest green color. And finally a fabulously sculptural specimen of Limonite (a crusty brown iron mineral) with tiny sparkling sprays of Mimetite crystals all over the top of it. All sale priced pieces - but Im thrilled with all of them. Ill definitely be ordering from him again.
