While Im fond of saying that I dont know how to work on diesels because I have an IDI and they really will run on anything that will burn, sadly, the E4OD is not of the same calibre as the mighty 7.3 IDI. I am NOT one of the cool kids and the only coal rollin I can do is the shop furnace, I am slowly but surely becoming adept at the intricacies of the E4OD. In the same vein, the 300 TDi is the Brit equivalent of the IDI-but even simpler! Some day, Ill put that VM TDi into something cool-maybe a Disco, maybe an RRC, maybe a D110 or D108...
