While Im having a day of speaking my mind, I want to share this video my friend Kimlee made. Its fantastic and I think I completely forgot the positive memories of the Occupy movement. It was of course originally targeted at Wall Street for causing the Great Recession, but my favorite part was watching people that had previously felt left out or homeless or friend less, had promise of a life and community to be a part of. No pay stubs required. Thats my favorite forgotten memory of what Occupy meant to me. The Local and Federal govt. messed that up and why I personally encourage people to focus on protesting Govt. Vs Wall Street, because the Govt is the one responsible for regulations on Wall Street and they are just as if not more responsible for the Great Recession. Its the govts responsibility to set laws and regulations. If the govt fails to regulate, then the govt should be held responsible. Love yall and great and factual docu short by Kimlee. :)
