While Im honoured to be on the Journals Edmonton Power 30 list and want to thoroughly congratulate all the other nominees, I am a little concerned that only 7 of the 30 are women, only 3 (2 pairs) of the 30 are people of colour, there doesnt appear to be any Metis, or First Nation representation and Edmontons vibrant arts community seems to be very much underrepresented. Maybe this is the power distribution in Edmonton, maybe its the way power is being defined and either way I dont know which is more troubling.
