While Im waiting for the video to upload, Im gonna give my two cents on this video here from ThunderusTimelord. I was honestly surprised to hear this from him when I did. It seemed like only a week ago he didnt show any signs of objecting to anything regarding youtube or his channel. He claims to have no motivation to rant, finds his videos foolish and overall just didnt like the idea of ranting. From what he described about what he plans on doing with his new channel (which he links in this video), it doesnt sound too far off from the general type of video hes known for making. I cant really imagine it would be too too different from the kinds of videos hes been putting out in recent months. Phils content was very unique and enjoyable and it sounds like his new channel will fit that caliber. With that in mind, I dont understand why one would outright delete their channel or their entire video catalogue. One could just as easily revamp their channel and take it in a new direction without having to delete it or start a new one. TheRandomGangsta is a good example of this. Before he started ranting, he had specialized in videos related to Bionicle. And with a name like ThunderusTimelord, you could easily put out the kinds of videos Phil describes on that channel and make an easy transition on your channel (that is unless he was just tired of the name, which theres no evidence showing that) which is just what TRG did. So Im not sure completely doing away with his channel was Phils best idea here. Regardless, I wish Phil luck and hope the best for him in the New Year.
