While Professor Noam Chomsky is indeed one of the leading spokesperson of the left in America today, note should be taken that it is not a revolutionary left but more of an institutional left that exists within a kind of agreed upon framework that does not take the fight to the streets, towns, cities, universities, and work places that is the role of a truly revolutionary party. Such a revolutionary party does in fact exist on the margins here in the US as The Socialist Equality Party which is the US component of the 4th Socialist International. While a party member has told me that membership in the SEP has been growing quite rapidly in the past year or so, no numbers are available at this time. The goal and purpose of the SEP and the 4th Socialist International is the overthrow and abolition of capitalism by any and all means which generally are not specifically spelled out for obvious reasons. There is a lot that one could say in regard to Professor Chomskys article on the formulation of US foreign policy but the one thing that I can say for sure is that his description is one of the few truthful version of the facts that many people will ever read or hear about. For that one reason Professor Chomsky has been of immense service to the American people by way of informing them of the real facts of life as opposed to the convenient myths that the US ruling class and its governing power structure peddle to the masses. Professor Chomsky will long be remembered for the brave and forthright truth-teller that he has been. His lifes work has been of inestimable value to younger generations of Americans seeking to get the kind of political education that can not be had in any of Americas colleges or universities. It is the essential kind of political education that is needed to bring new generations into the fight. Unfortunately for the rest of the world the only solution to the kinds of problems enunciated by Professor Chomsky effecting the rest of the world will have to come of necessity from the American people themselves and not from some foreign power or any such combination of foreign powers. This is a fight to the death between WE THE PEOPLE that make up the 99% of the American population and the criminal cabal of corporate capitalism that makes up the other 1% of the American population and has no loyalties to anything other than their idolotrous gods of banking, finance, and total world domination at any and all cost to humanity that of course includes themselves as well. We live in a world where one always assumes that good in the end triumphs over evil. That of course may be more of a convenient moral prejudice than actual fact or at least so it seems from time to time when observing the absurdities of human folly. The greatest folly of all however is to think that history does not indeed move in a positive direction and that indeed there is no real purpose to human life. We are lucky enough to live in such a time as our own where the ultimate working out of these monumental forces of human history is now occurring. It is a great time to be alive. It is a great time to be a revolutionary!
