While at the hospital with my poor hubby yesterday, we saw this lady who looked miserable with a cough and runny nose. She was 6 months pregnant. She was complaining loudly to the triage nurse about how she should be seen quickly because she is worried about the well being of her baby if she is sick. As we were all waiting for the doctor, i struck up conversation with her, saying it couldnt be easy to be pregnant and sick... Etc. yea for sure, its worrying she said, and then dug through her purse, came up with cigarettes and a lighter and said be right back im sorry, but my sympathy for her at that moment went out the window.shes worried about what effect a cold will have on her unborn baby, and then in the same minute goes out to smoke. I truly fail to see the logic in that!
