While boiling water to cook macaroni (for baked mac.and cheese) for our 2nd funeral dinner this week.-a glob, or blob or bubble of boiling water bubbled out and landed on my stomach. I usually grab ice and put it on a burn, but we realized just last night that the ice maker has quit... :( I put as much cold water on it as I could, and said a quick Jesus, you know I have at least 4 hrs of work to do, to help with this dinner, and this spot hurts. Please help, as I put a little cortizone cream on it. (Cortizone cream cures anything...or so I think) After about 20 min the pain was gone, and I didnt think anymore abt it until tonight. Getting ready for bed, I noticed that I had, had a blister from it, the sz of a nickel, (that I never even realized I had) that had already popped, and was gone and over with, and no pain. God is good!! The funeral was for a man that went to Heaven to re-join his wife, this week. They would have been married 67 years today.
