While booking and promoting shows, I try my best to never take a negative spin on things or use wording that would imply that anybody should feel stupid or inadequate for not attending a gig, but once in a blue moon a band comes along that rattles me so hard that I cannot help it. Vancouver, if you miss Neighborhood Brats at the Owl tonight you should consider yourself dead to me, and dead on the inside, and exercise your right to march out into the ocean a la Point Break. As someone whod rather chew their own leg out of a bear trap than watch 9/10 female fronted punk bands, I can say without risk of hyperbolizing that youd be an actual crazy person for not giving them your undivided attention this evening.
