While busily pandering to a Hispanic audience made up of know-nothing, screaming Miley Cyrus fans in Las Vegas, one who apparently missed qualifying for amnesty decided to heckle His Excellency and express his dissatisfaction. Obama tells the heckler that not everybody will qualify and that is why they are still going to have to pass a bill. He says that’s the truth, which naturally, it isn’t. No matter what bill he might be envisioning, unless the borders are completely done away with and citizenship is granted to all applicants free of charge, there will still be some who don’t meet the qualifications or might believe they weren’t sufficiently pandered to. That’s the reality of the risks one faces when formulating policy on the fly, with no consideration given to the rule of law. Laws are clearly defined; whims aren’t. Obama says that what he’s done, the illegality to this point, is a first step but not the only step. He’s got more up his sleeve. He tells the “young man” that he’s been respectful to him and wants him to be respectful in return by sitting down and being quiet. While being respectful of each other, they can both disrespect the Constitution, the American people and our sovereignty. Respect, like the rule of law, is more of a concept than a constant in Obama’s perverse world. youtube/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=pyFFv6wZzUM
