While cleaning the house in readiness for Troys return we found - TopicsExpress

While cleaning the house in readiness for Troys return we found this photograph. It is a picture of the state of one of our walls after one of Troys falls. A Header as he calls it! Many people with MS are very unsteady on their feet, with their balance, motor control and reflexes affected and are susceptible to falls. Troy, like most people did not want to accept the use of a wheelchair but did so for his personal safety after falls became more frequent and dangerous. He also smashed the large ceramic soap holder off the fall above the bath with his head. I am so glad this is not a regular occurrence now and it was not only painful and distressing for him, but I felt anxious for his safety, hyper vigilant or helpless a lot of the time This broken wall has since been repaired (see second image) and received a new coat of paint. It looks and functions as good as new. Youd never know that it was once broken like this. This photo only acts as a memory, an account of a piece of history and a story. May this be a metaphor for MS in your life Troy, in our life. A part of your story our story, a memory, a piece of history. Heres wishing you many more wonderful chapters of your story, to realise your hearts desires. I am honoured to be blessed to share it with you Xxx love Ainslie Ps. I think that wall actually turned out better than it was previously :)
