While crafting my wand I pulled out my soldering gear in an attempt to attach the copper. When this didnt work and while the soldering iron was hot I thought to do a bit of wood burning, this piece coming together when a photo of stairs leading up toward a cave opening fell down from the window where it sits landing beside me, and as the shape fit exact to the piece of wood I was holding (while wondering what to draw) I laughed at what was the obvious choice... Flipping it over I drew in the cave entrance, creating a double sided doorway for journeying into and out of our inner cave... This piece didnt live long with me, gifting itself to a bright brother within days of its birthing after he shared it looked just like a space he visits often in journey... It was great touching in again with a craft I havent pursued since my teens, something that had me thinking a great deal of my father as it was his favorite craft also and something I learnt from his creating... Looking forward to the next piece already!! Love the magick of manifestation and creation!!!
