While discussing a movie with some friends a few days after, all of a sudden it struck to me, malls too have cinema halls, and next time when I feel like watching a movie, I will combine that with car wash in the basement of the same mall. And on one particular holiday I opted for a movie with good reviews, its timings and the particular mall suited to my requirement. I drove my car directly to the basement at the car wash centre, discussed the matter with the boys and pleaded for the best bargain. In the end, they assured me my car would be ready in about two and half hours. I said, ‘ No problem, go ahead, I am going for ‘Highway’ , the movie, it would take no less than two and hours, so its fine.’ With this, I rushed to the ticket windows of the PVR cinemas in the mall. There were long queues on windows. Tickets were being sold on computer. After about ten minutes when my turn came I shouted in the glass opening ‘one ticket for ‘Highway’, centre corner.’ And with this I threw a five hundred rupee note across the counter. ‘Sir, Highway is houseful, no tickets.’ He shouted back, and added ‘what about (he named some stupid movie of Salman Khan), we have its tickets, the movie would start ten minutes after Highway in the other hall on the same floor.’ ‘Oh, No. ‘ I said desperately and came out of the queue. For few moments I was in utter desperation and frustrated over the sad event of not getting the ticket of cherished movie. Then all of a sudden, the larger implications of this event dawned on me. ‘Oh , No.’ I shouted to myself and started running towards basement. - ahsan ( from my real life story Car Wash )
