While going between my parents home and my in-laws, I always pass by the small place where pelts are sold. For many years, we make sure to stop there and look for an interesting fur to purchase, or just enjoy looking at it. They have cow hides and sheep as well, but there is a mountain goat, bear, wolf, bambi and even a horse. AFAIK, none of these animals died for its coat alone. Most of them finished on a plate, so in a natural cycle of eat or be eaten - we should make sure that nothing is wasted. We are not animals to leave inedible parts. :)
