While going through foreclosure and having just climbed out of my electric wheelchair I had been in for over a year, recovering or trying to from the 5 back surgeries I had to repair my broken back I received on the job working in San Jose CA. Myself and one Brother from the west coast flew to DC to join two retired local Brothers from my Mother local 26. Although I had been aware that the leadership of the I.O. and most of the local unions werent truly interested in the welfare of the body and soul of the IBEW, us the Brothers and Sisters that make it viable. No, most if not all of our International Leadership would rather make deals with NECA-NEBF than to so something simple like show support for working class people. Public Workers Unions!!! But Nooooooo!! EVen though the I.O. is just 3 blocks behind us when the speakers are visible. Our fearless leaders were inside the IO building jerking off and didnt even give one crap about showing solidarity for other workers.
