While helping homeless people is a good thing, this guy evidently had been told to stop handing out food more than once. He wasnt fired for helping out a homeless guy, he was fired because on more than one occasion he took what wasnt his and gave it away. This was no different then if some kid working the counter at McDonalds gave his buddies free food without permission. Heres a thought, ask your boss if its ok to give it to the guy.....if he says no, then purchase the food yourself and give it to him.
