While home on leave from military serving our country in Bosnia, Jonathan Merchant was a passenger in a car accident ... that accident would change his life forever. In an instant, he became paralyzed... as a quadriplegic. The physical comeback story in and of itself is amazing... but its the man behind it that makes it even more remarkable....... Since his accident, he has done more than most able-bodied people I know.... from doing triathlons, to riding horses, ballroom dancing, riding horses and shooting guns.... this man inspires..... His LIFE DEPENDS on him staying healthy and fit so that he can live independently...and Im so honored to have him on our team as a Team Beachbody Coach..... he may not be able to do the workouts, but he can sure as heck encourage and coach someone who is ready to take charge of their health and fitness.... he is a living example of what you can do when you put your mind to it.
