While i sat by the entrance at some Dominican spot eating shrimp mofongo i saw this homeless man pushing his belongings with cans/bottles etc. he took a break at the light and while he was there i had this urge to help him. As he crossed the street and stopped to rest again. i got up in the middle of my meal, approached him to ask what he wanted to eat, on me as a gift. he didnt ask for much but i got him a loT of chicken stew, rice with gandules with two bottles of water! lol and after i payed and gave it to him we talked for 2 hours! ;] His name is Gorge Sanchez 63 years old. He is Puerto Rican and after his wife passed away from thyroid disease he became very depressed. He has a daughter and lots of family who he visits and talks with as he is currently getting back on his feet. He worked for Republic New York Corporation for 30 years which was sold after its chairmans (Edmond Safra) death to money laundering HSBC. For as long as he worked in a bank more he did not know of the private FEDERAL RESERVE/ Fractional Reserve banking/ devaluing of the dollar, etc. We talked about past administrations, politics, history in general and so many other things. He was soooo grateful he could not express it in words after we had to part ways. i referenced to you documentarys for him to watch with his daughter 20 years old who currently works at HSBC. We both learned a lot about each other and we had such a great time. He said that what i did and what we talked about was worth more than anything ever! we exchanged info, hugged multiple times lol, and parted ways. =]
