Zane Grey used her as his Game Fishing Launch over a few seasons around 1926 when he wrote the book. He won numerous World Records in game fishing which are still in place today. Visit the Russell Sword Fishing Club to see the original wall plaques showing many record catches of Zane Grey partnered with Alma G. This famous game fishing launch is based in the Bay of Islands with a current marine survey and charter license for 4 active anglers.
