While in the military, serving as a parachute rigger it was a well know fact told to everyone. If the chute you pack fails and that person dies. The packer would go to jail. If a soldier shoots an unarmed Civilian, prepare to be on CNN for war crimes. If Field Artillery fires in the wrong direction, Jail. If a cop shoots an unarmed teen he is put on paid leave. There is a double standard here. Ferguson isnt about race, theft, blocking traffic, or resisting arrest (wait for it). Ferguson is a lightning rod for personal accountability. Accountability is stepping up accepting responsibility and taking the consequences of your actions. Not making excuses for your actions, or defaming someone to make your actions seem reasonable. The thing is this happens everyday in America. We the people need to stand together for personal accountability. Military has the right to lethal force just as the police do. But the Military has its own laws (UCMJ) as well as normal laws. The Police dont seem to have any laws.
