While in the process of culling things out of my storage I ran across this old treasure...an original 1977 Rumph Chewbacca stein. This was one of a three piece set, which had Obi Wan Kenobi, and Darth Vader, as well as this Chewbacca. The sculptors website lists this as possibly one of the earliest Star Wars memorabilia produced. I recall the set being among the first Star Wars items in my collection. The other two companion steins were stolen from my storage and this one remained only because it was put in the wrong box during a move. I am definetly on the lookout for the Vader and Obi Wan if anyone has a line on any for sale.
