While interesting, I was not a fan. I found the book to be too long to go nowhere. Too much science talk for me. I am surprised to hear that people feel they are not affected by HeLa cells, when most are vaccinated against polio. I first learned of the cells in college, studying canine distemper. They played a big role in learning about the disease. I have seen and cared for a few distemper patients in my career, so I suppose I have been influenced by the cells in multiple ways.
