While it is quoted a bunch (by well meaning folk, guilty myself), God will not put more upon you than you are able to bear, is not a Scripture. Never leave you nor forsake you; scripture Hebrews 13:5. Friend that sticketh closer than a brother; scripture Proverbs 18:24. Rock in a weary land; scripture Isaiah 32:2. Shelter from the storm; scripture Psalm 61:3. Strong tower from the enemy; scripture Psalm 61:3! Life does happen — good things happen to bad people and bad things happen to good people. It rains on the just and the unjust (Matthew 5:45). But there are times I am called to carry a load I am unable to bear WITHOUT God. He invites everyone to cast all your care upon him; for he careth for you. I Peter 5:7. So, take a load off yourself, let Him do what He desires to do...your Friend, is a friend in deed!
