While looking for work and applying everywhere I go or at least asking if they are hiring or taking applications. Im surprised at how impersonal the whole process has gotten. Gone are the days of talking to someone about hiring or jobs available. Everyone is so quick to give you a business card (of the company not even anyone specific) and tell you to apply online. Sure, I can appreciate the anonymity that this provides by the person hiring looking only at information on an application but it also rids the company of the opportunity to see and meet/experience the outgoing people person one might want to hire for a retail position or whatever. Its totally cramping my style, dude...lol
