While many of my peers go out and party, I party with my family in the house. I decided to have a weekly Talent Show on Saturday nights to have fun, express ourselves, explore our gifts, build comaraderie, increase self-esteem, and entertain ourselves. 1st: Cayla The Dynamic Diva surprised us by doing pushups while in the splits with the song We Will Rock You 2nd: I did a midget dance to the song I Wish (I wish I was a little bit taller) 3rd: Amber Dawn Rice serenaded us with her beautiful voice singing Somewhere Over the Rainbow Finale: Family Dance Party NEXT WEEK THEME: Write or Recite Poetry Night. We will showcase our talents through the art of spoken word. Honestly we had sooo much fun I wanted to share it with many of you that have families or close friends to encourage you to try it. I often go to game night and play board games with my brothers and the greatest joy to me is spending quality time interacting with loved ones. The bonus is being surprised at what you experience or learn about each other, sharing good laughs, and making great memories.
