While most cops do not like any court decisions that restrict their movements and actions; from time to time those decisions need to be made to keep us honest and remind us we are here to protect and serve. It seems the past few residents of the White House have forgotten that. We can not afford to permit our profession to fall into that trap. Bailey v. U.S. was a good decision both for honest police and for all citizens and our rights.
