While our communities are dealing with massive flooding and our roads are still crumbling, what are the Senate Republicans going to do tomorrow on the ONE DAY they are bothering to show up to work this month? Theyre going to take away your right to vote on another issue of course! Using the same procedural trick that they used to jam the offensive rape insurance law through the process last year, Republicans are going to try to push a law through to allow wolf hunting in Michigan instead of letting it go before a vote of the people. Whether or not you favor a wolf hunt in Michigan isnt the issue. The issue is that these Republicans continue to have such disregard for your right to vote on it as our Constitution calls for. Ill be fighting this latest attack on voting rights here in Michigan when it comes before the Senate tomorrow, but I hope youll help me fight it now by contacting your Senator and telling them that enough is enough!
