While painting on the horse portrait I would watch Donato Giancolas The Mechanic DVD which is a video showing him painting the science fiction piece he titles The Mechanic hence the name of the DVD :-) I like it because it is realistic but on youtube there is very little realism or oil painters but there is a lot of sloppy impressionistic stuff and a lot of it is water colour. This is more realistic and the colours are very nice. Wish shed do more. youtu.be/Vorsw-S63e0
