While running yesterday, I was in between my two running buddies...one in front and the other behind me (Coach). Around mile 10, I thought I was going to give out. A little fatigued and a few umphs and whews, I wanted to walk the rest of the way. Then from behind I heard, Mental test right here. Though they both checked on me periodically, and I checked on them, it was something about that pivotal moment. Those four words and the tone caused me to shift. I got another squeeze of Gu, sipped my Nuun, and started digging deep. I knew that I had to finish. God is saying this very thing to some of us right now...Mental test right here. Hes saying it just like this because He knows that you have what it takes. Its already IN you. You want to give up because youre tired. You want to stop because things are not going the way you want them to go. You are sick and tired of being sick and tired. Been there, done that, and can write a few books. But I encourage you to know that this is only a MENTAL TEST! Be transformed NOW by renewing your mind (Romans 12:2) in this place.
