While schooling this morning the boys were arguing about who was the more handsome of the two. Huey was telling Adam that because he is taller that makes him more handsome, Adam was telling Huey that he has better looking hair. They went on and on until they decided to come to me and ask me to settle the matter. Being the kind of mom that I am (and not wanting to admit hat I cant make a distinction between the two), I asked them to tell my how the other boy was better looking than themselves. Quickly they went from trying to one up the other by tearing him down, they showered each other with praise and compliments. This is quite possibly a lesson that we can take from and put into practice ourselves. Todays throw down challenge is to look for ways to build someone else up with a sincere compliment about their character. The best looking person in the sight of the Lord is the one that has the prettiest soul, and there is no better accessory than that!
