While sitting here, drinking my third cup of coffee, I keep - TopicsExpress

While sitting here, drinking my third cup of coffee, I keep reading this little motivation over and over. To me, this is probably one of the best and most important mental tools to have in your arsenal. Also, it is one of the most difficult to master. When you are off on Sunday, most RPhs and techs will think, Oh God, tomorrow is Monday. Heaven help me. Thinking like that you are placing negative thoughts into the universe. Change those thoughts around. Find a dark, quiet spot, sit down and start visualizing a quiet, peaceful Monday, without corporate interference. Take those thoughts and see them on your internal TV. Brighten the picture, see the colors, see that grouchy mr Doe with a smile. Hear Mrs Potty Mouth, actually say good morning and thank you without using 4 letter words. Turn that sound up. Music to your years, soothing as Ein Kleine Nackmusik. That those visual and auditory thoughts and internalize them. Feel them thru out your body. Accept them into your being and make them part of your soul. You are the master, use your mind for your own good. This is an outstanding tool to use. I have used it on athletes, poorly on myself (getting better), and with some other RPhs. When you can control your work environment, then picture changing the corporate mindset. That will take all our collective visualizations to change the world. What you put out into the universe will come back. Think positive. VISUALIZE THEN ACTUALIZE YOUR SUCCESS ----------------------------------------------- Your mind is your mental workshop. You can build anything you want in it. Visualize what you want in your mind. See it. Feel it. Taste it. Believe in it. Make your mental blue print and then begin to build. First, think about what you want out of life. The beginning always takes place in your imagination. Then organize your thoughts into definitive plans. Next, its time to transform your thoughts into reality by taking some positive action. You can live your dreams. ---------------------------------------------- ©2005 by Max Steingart maxsteingart Reproduce freely but maintain © notice
