While the FDA has not issued an official recall they have issued a warning tied to jerky/tender pet treats made in China. The treats have caused the death of over 600 animals and caused illnesses in over 3,600 pets. The warning covers multiple brands and types of treats including those with chicken, duck, sweet potato and dried fruit (see the full list of treats in the article below), but it is recommended you take caution with jerky pet treats of any brand, especially those made in China.
