While the Pulitzer is awarded to the journalists who wrote about the NSA spying tactics, there are some who are still a bit angry over the circumstances. As Liam Fox claims, “We have actually seen chatter among specific terrorist groups, at home and abroad, discussing how to avoid what they now perceive to be vulnerable communications methods and, consequently, how to select communications that they perceive not to be exploitable,” Fox said. How would he know this if terrorists have chosen alternative communication methods which cant be infiltrated? Rubbish, I say! Mr. Fox and all the defenders of the NSA program fail to comprehend their snooping and collecting data on individual citizens hasnt thwarted one terrorist incident. Not one. Furthermore, weve learned that the tech industry has participated in this snooping exercise which flies in the face of our own system of justice. Your trampling over the rights of innocent people to gather information that does not pertain to terrorism. And, while all this trampling has been going on, youve failed to stop one incident of terrorism. Furthermore, there are plenty of documents that have not been disclosed which would cause harm to military personnel or innocent civilians. The journalists are doing their jobs and being rewarded for it. While it is embarrassing to the surveillance industry, they might want to discuss how a simple contractor for the government was able to obtain such a massive treasure trove of information onto smart drives when he already had a checkered past. It only took about 5 minutes of reading Snowdens military and CIA past accounts to question why this guy wasnt red flagged once he entered the NSA database. Instead of calling this guy names, which he might be a narcissist, why not direct some questions on how a shady character got access to massive amounts of sensitive data with the NSA - as a contractor to the federal government. How about pointing a finger at the contractor? God forbid someone really intelligent with malicious motives were employed as a contract worker for the NSA.
