“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease”-Gen 8:22 Each time you give, be it your potential, your time, your resources or yourself; you must see your giving as a seed or an investment in the Kingdom of God. Therefore your giving must be done with an expectation. God owes no man nothing. When our giving fulfils God’s criteria, it provokes a response from Him. Giving is Kingdom principle; the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is based on giving. God gave His only begotten son; expecting that humanity will be reconciled back to Him. God expects the redemption of mankind following the gift of Jesus Christ. So each time you give; be expectant, be full of faith, joy and excitement, expecting a harvest. Each time you increase your level of consecration to God, expect a harvest of fresh oil and fresh fire; expect more of God, expect more of His grace and power in return in your life. Remember, in God’s Kingdom, everything is done with a purpose; nothing is done in vain. Each time you release your talent to God, more talents will be added to you besides the enlargement and increase God brings to you. As you give your time to God and His service, God redeems your time; He multiplies your remaining time back to you. He increases the value and the worth of whatever is left; He accelerates your accomplishment and makes you achieve so much within so little a time left for yourself. As you release your resources to support God’s agenda or as an answered prayer to someone’s need, God will release back to you in multiple fold what you have given. “Give, and (gifts) will be given to you, good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will they pour into (the pouch formed by) the bosom (of your robe and used as a bag) for with the measure you on (with the measure you use when you confer benefits to others), it will be measured back to you”-Luke 6:38 (AMP) It is therefore scriptural for you to wrap your giving with an expectation. Every time you give in God’s Kingdom, do it with a huge expectation, tie your giving to a specific harvest. Afterall, God Himself says “Test me in this, says the Almighty, and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it”-Malachi 3:11 (NIV). Remember, the expectation of the righteous shall not be cut short. God Bless You.
