While the extremist right wingers are more than a little obvious in the upheaval in the Ukraine, the neo-Nazis are crawling out of the woodwork all over Europe. But that is not the only place they exist. The Tea Party version of the Republican Party is our own home made version of the same thing. Fascists love to con the workers of whatever nation they work in into believing that the rights of the workers are paramount. Nothing could possibly be farther from the truth. As in the Tea Party and other fascist front groups for the wealthy fascists that include but are not limited to the top 1% - 5%, behind them is money from the very rich. The goal is to eliminate all of the functions of a democratically run country - from the public school system to the water supply and place them in the hands of unelected, self appointed people. What we are really fighting is a stealth form of fascism parading under the banner of the flag and the Bible to destroy a struggling and steadily weakening democratic republic. On Mar. 16 neo-Nazis marched in Riga, Latvia, to honor surviving Latvian Waffen SS troops who served in World War II. Anti-Nazis who wanted to enter Latvia to participate in counter demonstrations were stopped. The Latvian prime minister found it necessary to fire her environment minister, Einars Cilinskis, of the National Party, because he marched with the SS men in defiance of her orders.
