While the fishing was great for the fishing opener, unfortunately the catching was a little off. Everyone seemed to struggle to get fish in the boat but given the weather was great, nobody seemed to care! Water temps are still on the low side and its anybodys guess as to whether or not the spawn has taken place. Northern Pike still had their eggs and the few Walleye that got landed still had their milk. If we ever have decent weather we will have some great fishing in a few weeks when the lake gets sorted out. Memorial Weekend is coming up and we still have a couple of cabins open. Were running a 3 for 2 special on all remaining units....stay for 3 nights, pay for 2. Give us a call for details!!
