While the hierarchal concelebration is a beautiful gesture of ecclesial union, the fact remains that in spite of Magisterial documents, proclamations, pastoral documents, Catholic Bishops Conference documents, etc. Eastern Catholics in North and South America outside of a few major cities are often largely unknown by their Latin brethren and struggle with even basic pastoral care.
