While the majority of people have accepted the outcome of the referendum with respect and dignity, there are some really bitter people on here. comments like we should be embarrassed/ashamed, the world is laughing at us and Scotland is a disgrace are utter bollocks and the only people causing shame and that are being laughed at are those making these statements. This referendum engaged people who would normally have little interest in or knowledge of politics, and I include myself in that category, but unfortunately it has also resulted in clowns without an ounce of dignity in their body spouting all sorts because they are bad losers. We asked to vote on this democratically and we got a definitive outcome through this process. Of course people are disappointed as not everyone got what they wanted but that is democracy. No one knows if Scotlands choice was the right one and only time will tell but its the one we now need to accept. However, the people of our country should never feel ashamed for taking a decision which they feel was in the best interests of our present and future. For that, we can only be proud. Now, please, lets move on.
