While the new Thanks video app is cool, I decided to create pics that describe how grateful I am for the many friendships and associations I have been blessed with in my life. First, my parents Dusty Nelson and Belinda Nelson. Their example has been a main influence and strength to me. Next, my sisters and family, Jared Mikki Zito and Nicole Nelson are the greatest I could have ever asked for. Each day I thank the Lord for sending me to such an outstanding family, including my grandparents and extended family, as well as those who have gone before me. Also, my mission family, from my mission President Paul and Sister Elizabeth Belnap, to the many mission brothers and sisters I was honored to serve with. My trainer and friend Kelly Kemp, first District Leader Matthew Lee Petersen, Greenie Buster Jason Hiles all played crucial roles in defining my experience in the WKM, and continue to shine the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Throughout my life, Ive also been blessed with good friends that have inspired and strengthened me more than I can possibly explain, in different aspects and areas of my life. They have influenced who I have become and who I am becoming, Brian Love and Ashley Kay Love, Casey Saxton, Andy Pierucci, and Nick Clason, thank you for your friendship, it means more to me than words can adequately express. Ive had amazing opportunities to dive into an area of life that I love- politics and public service. From working with my good friend and BE County Commissioner Stan Summers, as well as being appreciative of Representative Ronda Menlove for giving me opportunities to learn, grow, and dream. Also, I continue to be honored by the opportunity I had to work in the Office of Governor Gary Herbert, even if it was some time ago. I continue to cherish my associations gained from that amazing and life-changing experience. His staff set the premiere example of how to serve the people of the great State of Utah, examples that I seek to emulate. I continue to appreciate these dedicated individuals who serve diligently for the betterment of the people of Utah. In addition, I am honored to have the opportunity to serve as a Town Council member in the Town of Elwood. I do not take my responsibilities lightly, and will continue to diligently serve the good people of the Town of Elwood, a town I love. Last, thanks be to Jesus Christ for his atoning sacrifice for all mankind. May I resolve within myself to better emulate him and his teachings. I will forever be grateful for his life, his mission, and for the strength his Gospel gives me as I seek to follow him.
