While the news of visa restriction on some scholars including Shaikh Tawfique Chowdhury saddens me greatly, I cant help share one of his old articles, in which he as a matter of fact, did mention, how important it was for him to keep in good terms with the kuffar govt and have un restricted access to all countries. What an irony, that few days back Bangladesh Govt. practically stopped a very neutral program arranged by Mercy Mission. Now they have blacklisted the very scholars who have been most vocal against the so termed Islamic Terrorism. I really dont wish to see the day when the West Friendly Scholars who are doing so much to be in the good books of the Kuffar governments, will become victims of their perceived allies, but history says, that day will come eventually. May Allah swt guide us all and protect us against the schemas of the kuffars.
