While the shooting in Texas is horrible and terribly tragic, it really isnt surprising. When you consider the recent numbers of active duty suicides it was really just a matter of time till someone truly desperate decided to take some others with him. PTSD is a very real thing. Think about, talk to, and try to be there for the veterans in your life. Some of them are still fighting a very real war inside of their own minds everyday and they have more than earned our compassion.
