While the sunshine certainly helps, sometimes its the little things that make it feel like an island summer. The unassuming Eriophorum angustifolium, more commonly know as Bog Cotton, suddenly bursts into life at this time of year, turning scattered patches of our moors and crofts into small seas of bright white flowery fleece.
