While there are a lot of things going on in the world, the news about Robin Williams apparent suicide was an unpleasant surprise. I went and looked at his filmography and literally forgot how many movies of his that I grew up on. I dont know a single person my age who didnt grow up on Hook, Aladdin or Mrs. Doubtfire. I used to watch Mork & Mindy re-runs at my grandmas house in the summer. Dead Poets Society helped reinforce my love of literature. Patch Adams taught me alternative types of medicine through care and compassion. Jumanji, Good Will Hunting… I watch films because I love characters and stories… Robin Williams had such a unique personality that drew you in. Crazy.
