While this article is a bit of an oversimplification, I can definitely stand behind the general sentiments: the "both sides do it" fallacy that is the pillar upon which the corporate media stands is a myth, President Obama is not an evil monolith, the American public is the most important component of our participatory democracy, and that when it comes to electoral politics, we take ourselves for granted as arbiters of change. The question is, how do we convince people that, in order for them to gain any ground towards their ideological expectations, they must, to a certain degree abandon them?
