While traveling in the UK during the last month during the current - TopicsExpress

While traveling in the UK during the last month during the current war in Gaza I was discussing with a lot of people I had met about the conflict and how things are more complex as they seem in the EU media (being a pro 2 state solution Israeli). In some of the cases I have managed to change peoples opinions in a short conversation (many of them being unaware of a lot of facts concerning the current operation and the conflict as a whole). I wanted to write a long post about it. Not pro-Israeli (as I, myself, not 100% pro-israeli) but anti-Hamas and religious fundamentalism and extremism in general but I stumbled upon this piece which pretty much summarizes a lot of what I had to say (with a few minor corrections of mine, especially concerning #2), written by a pakistani-canadian. Worth reading, and if you are European/American/Indian Ill be more than happy discussing your agreements and disagreements with the article and spreading it if you have found it informative. Personally I find it hard to understand liberal-democrats who support Hamas or ISIS (or the foundation of new settlements in the west bank for the matter).
