While trying to get stuff ready for Scarborough and a couple of other projects, I had left our two tables in a state of disarray. I had also meglected to mow the yard. And so on Thursday evening, my little bride tells me that she has a client coming meet her at the house at two on Tuesday. I knew I would be at the firehouse on Friday and Monday, then at Scarborough rehearsals on Saturday and Sunday. I would have to clean up my two messes and mow the yard on Tuesday morning. I did that, I got everything finished and was just putting the blower away at exactly 14:00 yesterday. As I walked into the tidy house, sweaty and covered in dirt and clippings, Kitty admitted that there was no client coming to the house that day. . . - - - And THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is how to play an April Fools Day prank.
