While watching the recent open golf last week a commentator mentioned it was the only sport where you could get people of different ages and abilities competing together. Try telling that to cyclists! In this Saturday’s 10 mile time trial organised by Rugby RCC, our club will have eight riders with ages up to seventy and including two women. They’ll be taking on the clock, but also record breaking time triallist Matt Bottrill, recently crowned national 50 mile champion. However local rider Matt Clinton is also in blistering form and course record holder, so whoever wins will probably have to lower the course record again. Wishing all riders a safe and fast ride.
