While we may consider the SC decision as a partial success and a victory of the people, we must however continue to: 1. Call on COA to make public their audit findings on how the DAP funds were used and/or misused. (Needless to say, the P100+ Billion DAP disbursement dwarfs the P10 B Napoles pork scam!) 2. Push for the investigation and prosecution of ALL those who have abused and misused our public funds--as there will be no real justice if the offenders are left unpunished. (As the President approved an illegal act and even defended DAP, he too must be held accountable.) 3. Remain vigilant and ensure that there will be no other form of pork now and in the future--and that public funds will be used solely for public welfare (and not for patronage politics!). 4. Call upon the moral strength and resolve of the Filipino people to finally address the weaknesses of our laws which precipitated the present controversies. (Emphasis on the urgency for FOI and the real need for Peoples Initiative at this time!)
