While we pass around internet memes and mutter about everything going to hell in a handbasket, our opposites on the left have become the de facto creators and curators of culture -- and culture drives politics, not the other way around. We trot out Reagan quotes and pat ourselves on the back for knowing the right answers on Federalist Paper trivia night; meanwhile, the left is creating and sustaining the next generations of its base through control of the culture.
