While we sit in the comfort of our own homes, somewhere in the corner of Syria, Egypt, Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan and Libya some little innocent child, mother, wife, husband, brother, sister or a father is worrying when the next bullet will hit their homes. Whilst we have the luxuries of life in a country like Australia, some people are not fortunate to share that same level of gratitude. Please spare a moment out of your busy lives and reflect on the fear that some of our brothers and sisters may be experiencing during these tumultuous times. It takes a moment to raise your hands and make dua, give zakat or reflect so please do so for the sake of Allah. A moment spent reflecting on another individuals misfortune is a moment Allah will give you in Paradise. May He protect us all, amen.
